I almost gave up on this one. I truly love Rick’s works, I start reading his works from The “Heroes of Olympus” series. So I have high expectation on “Trials of Apollo” series. I read the 1st book, The Hidden Oracle early on 2017, finally I have the opportunity to continue following Lester Papadopolous a.k.a Apollo journey. The firts half of the book feel kinda bored (I’m sorry Rick), but finally my faith have restored, I’m glad to manage myself to finish this book. By the half of book, you can “see” most of actions finally come up, along with some sadness and tragedy. Apollo character has grows, and he start to think about the others rather than himself. I have several good laugh while finishing this book. This book reveal some of Apollo past, and some mistake he does and how he wishes he could fix it. The book plot is simpler compare to the first book.
