I have so many memories with this world’s second largest urban agglomeration, all the complexity, the traffic and the pluralistic and diverse population, I’d say it’s hard to forget Jakarta easily.
While the goverment planning to move the Capital City of Indonesia to Kalimantan/Sulawesi, We indeed have to admit Jakarta is too crowded, too loud, and too old. Jakarta Suffered from rapid urban growth, ecological breakdown, gridlock traffic and congestion, and flooding.
Jakarta had been a witness for Indonesia history, from Pre-colonial era, Colonial era, Independence era, and also the declaration of Indonesia independence took place in Jakarta.
This week I have the opportunity to visit Monumen Nasional (Monas) and coffee shop called Saudagar Kopi. Enjoy!
